Fr. Angelos Saad
FOUNDER & Chairman
As the Hegumen of the Coptic Orthodox community in southwestern Ontario, Father Angelos Saad has led a congregation of thousands of Coptic Egyptians and has been responsible for founding over 15 churches since the early 1990s. Fr. Angelos is the Founder and Chairman of the CCMA, as well as many other charitable organizations under the Coptic diocese of Mississauga and Western Canada.
Fr. John Boutros
President
Fr. John Boutros is the priest of a young downtown church in Toronto, Canada, St. Moses & St. Katherine Coptic Orthodox Church. Ordained in July 2012, he was previously a paediatric surgeon. Now, Fr. John serves a wide-variety of urban dwellers, students, and young professionals. Fr. John is equally passionate for the marginalized, the poor, and those who have no one. Being in a community of disciples of Jesus, steeped in ancient faith and Orthodoxy, rooted in Coptic heritage, we live to incarnate God’s love in a metropolitan setting.
Dr. Nagi Ross
Treasurer & C.O.O.
Dr. Ross is a senior hernia surgeon at Shouldice Clinic in Toronto with over 40 years of experience in the medical field. At Shouldice he has performed over 17,000 cases of abdominal wall reconstruction. Additional to his experience in hernia surgery, he performs walk-in consultations as well as occasional emergency medical services. Dr. Ross is passionate about volunteer medical work for countries in need and is currently the Treasurer of CCMA, helping deliver medical services and care to under-serviced areas, focusing mainly on Africa and the Middle East.
Dr. Michael Mohareb
Secretary
A graduate of the University of Toronto, Dr. Mohareb is a practicing Cardiologist at William Osler Health Center (Etobicoke General Hospital).
He’s married with two children and has been an active participant in all CCMA activities since 2017.
Dr. Yasser Botros
Vice President
Dr. Botros completed his residency training in general surgery at the University of Toronto. During his training he was the recipient of many local awards. He is currently a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada since 2002. He went on to do a 2-year Community General Surgery Fellowship at North York General Hospital where he currently is a Staff General Surgeon running a very busy practice since 2004. In 2006 he became a Lecturer at the University Of Toronto, Division of General Surgery.
Dr. Hany Sawires
Vice President
Dr. Sawires is a Surgical Oncologist at the Michael Garron Hospital as of 2009. His undergraduate medical training was completed at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Subsequently, he graduated from the University of Western Ontario as part of the OIMG program. He completed his residency in general surgery in 2007 followed by a fellowship in surgical oncology in 2009, both at the University of Toronto. Dr. Sawires has an interest in teaching residents and has received awards for this. His clinical interests include the treatment of breast cancer, gastric cancer as well as locally advanced colorectal cancer.

Is a family Doctor practicing in Burlington,Ontario since 2002,I did work as an Emergency Room Physician for 6 years in St Catherine Ontario.
Currently I am an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine in McMaster University.
My Wife,Naglaa, is a pharmacist and I have 2 children,My son Daniel in 2nd year Waterloo University and my daughter Carla is in grade 10.
