February 2022 mission trip update

Dear all members, volunteers and colleagues ,

In the last board meeting there hasn’t been a clear decision over the plans for the upcoming trip to Egypt snd Sudan, given the fluidity of the situation in regards to the current variant pandemic rapid spread.

however, the consensus was to revise the plan in the third week of January and wether to confirm or to halt the current foreseen mission in hand .

Also we feel that because we haven’t been to these mission trips for over two years now, we don’t want to block any service for those in need especially with a lot of desire to continue this global outreach.

Enclosed is the draft for the participants in this anticipated trip and will revise it more closely on a weekly basis from now on.

God bless your service and pray for us

Discussion about requests from different parish sites to provide regular monthly cash support by the CCMA,

Consensus decision to do it only on as needed basis rather than do it in an obligation model  for support indefinitely.

Also discussed the projections for resuming the mission trips in the near future, Dr Mohareb suggested to keep the status quo and to revise the situation on the upcoming fall season.

Dr BAKHET suggested to broaden the donation sources by implanting a monthly donation milieu over the web site or Facebook post.

Also suggestion to provide more photos and videos of the different sites we serve in the old country and post it online or through one of the social media post sites.

Approval to continue support the pop up vaccination clinic in the near future

Dr Mohareb strongly suggested to involve young generations more into the regular operations of the association as soon as possible.

Adjourned the meeting @ 7.51 pm by a short prayer by Dr Botros.

Dear all CCMA members and colleagues

“That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.”

Psalms 67:2

We would like to thank all those of you who supported our operations in the past year and more , with either cash donations, supply donations , Medicine donations and the like.

Because of your great support we were able to provide help to many parish run sites in the old country “ Egypt” in many forms and ways.

We have still some regular obligations to continue that support in the upcoming months and perhaps longer; until we resume our mission trips that were put on hold because of the pandemic.

This obligation goes in different forms and ways and we trust in your support to continue the blessings and to sow the fruits of service that we started it  more than four years ago .

God bless and on behalf of all the board of directors members please accept our gratitude and appreciation and best regards.

With great sorrow we announce the passing of a dear friend and a great helper to our cause Mr Hani Salib

Hani was a great soul and spirit as well as generous contributor to our missions since 2012

he made his pharmacy supplies available for any donation and requests . He did not hesitate to give away anything in his disposal during our travel, over the years we rely on his help and contributions.

Hani will be missed greatly; but our condolences is that he’s now in a better place , a place that is void of discomfort, worry and anxiety Amen.

so long great friend and colleague

Plea of help from Tasony Dr Barbara in Anba Barsoum Monastery Hospital in El Masaraa Helwan

The new wave of Covid-19 in Egypt is much worse than the ones before, the length of the disease and how fast the cases deteriorate is very serious. The  need for oxygen and ventilators are rising exponentially.

Last week cases was numerous mostly from elderly members of the monastry, clergy and their families. We have more than 17 cases right now , 6 beds in ICU  are full, that is more than we can handle.

We had to refuse a lot of cases because of shortage of ventilators and the capacity of the oxygen station which has 80 tanks which has to be reloaded twice a day.

Please help and pray for us.

Dear all members and colleagues :

As the season of lent is reaching its final weeks , we are used to send generous donations to different parishes in Egypt and Sudan.

The funds are used to buy necessities and goods to poor families in different parishes as well as help those in need in these difficult times.  the pandemic is lacing havoc on different parts of the world nowadays

We reach for  your support and generous donations in these times.

We turned into relief efforts for the time being because of the restrictions imposed on travel and movements nowadays.

Part of our mission is to fight poverty and provide hope to the needy all over the world specially in our native countries.

“Dear all members and colleagues,

Happy new year and merry Christmas wishes from all board members of CCMA.

We would like to express our gratitude and sincere appreciation for your continued support of our mission goals throughout the past difficult year.

Because of such support we were able to continue work to help the needy and most vulnerable during these unprecedented and difficult times, because of the pandemic circumstances.

We turned our efforts into relief tasks and with support in many forms, including funds to perform certain surgeries and procedures, as well as continuing to provide medications and help with purchase of much needed medical supplies, to many parish-run facilities.

The need is always bigger than we can handle, but we encourage you to continue to support the CCMA with its operations around the globe.

We hope the lord Jesus Christ will provide his mercy to us all and the entire world to relieve us all from this pandemic situation.

God bless you all.

Sincerely Board of Directors of

CCMA”

Dear all members:

November 8th 2020

As we are turning into relief efforts around the world, I would like to denote few such efforts conducted by our organization thus far in this period of crisis:

1- relief funds to Anba Abraam charity

2- relief funds to Anba Makar of El Sharkia Governorate victims of the latest floods in the early spring.

3- financing a project to donate PPE equipments to poor areas of Rural Souhag.

4- many smaller donations to finish some unfinished dental and medical works from last November2019 mission trip as well as to support medical facilities in upper and lower Egypt.

5- financial support to vaccination requirements for South Sudan.

As we are heading toward the new year of 2021 we hope the pandemic situation will allow resumption of these medical missions.

Without your support all these efforts won’t be possible.

We are in the interim also looking into some mission efforts to Bolivia Parish and would like to explore the availability of volunteers to go perhaps by spring 2021.

We hope to continue our relief measures to help brethren around the globe to overcome their hardship during this unprecedented catastrophe.

Without your generous donations these efforts will be severely hampered and be ineffective.

We are pleading with your support to help those in dire needs in the present uncertain Times.

You can send your donation to:
