“That Thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.”
— Psalm 67:2
Our Beginning
The Canadian Coptic Medical Association (CCMA) took off in Mississauga when a group of Coptic Orthodox health professionals living and practicing medicine in Canada came together to provide healthcare to those in need. The founders of CCMA saw the potential for supplying medical care to under-serviced areas of the world both at home and internationally, and took action.
Relief of sickness, suffering, and pain of people is within the core foundation of the Coptic Church.
